Painting Description

Soft but dramatic light bathes this small stream near Glen Allan. Peace and quiet are the order of the day.

Perhaps because of my teenaged painting lessons with M.F. Kousal who was a landscape painter, I enjoy rendering calm bits of pretty landscape. I often search for this type of subject as I follow the progress of streams through the countryside.
