Getting the Horses to Stand
Painting Description
If just one person is assembling a multi-horse team, it is essential to have animals that are co-operative. The farmer will leave a horse or several horses untethered while he returns to the stable for the next player on the team. When all the horses are assembled, they will be cross-harnessed and walked to the field or the implement.
