Painting Description

Roses against a brick garden wall are really fairly common in England. The mix of yellow, red and green against a blue sky is so attractive.

Brick garden walls just dripping with flowers are ten a penny in Kent. It drives me crazy to see so many attractive subjects and not be able to deal with all of them. Actually that is my problem not just when I am away but also when at home. As I get older, I see more possibilities, not fewer.
