From the Bridge
Painting Description
A spring view from the bridge at Three Bridges just west of St. Jacobs gives a pretty view of the Conestogo River as it winds through Mennonite country.
Noisy traffic speeds by as I stand on the bridge on a sunny morning. The view is so luminously pretty and quiet. As I stand there I realize, once again, how many times I have seen this sort of tableau, and many others, but I haven’t really noticed. The folks hurrying by will never see this. So sad.
