Fresh from the Oven
Painting Description
The Ford Museum near Detroit is the setting for this common pioneer activity. The woman that I used here was drafted from a pioneer museum near Edmonton, Alberta, while the dog loped in from a farm near Hawkesville, Ontario. The outdoor oven is from the Black Creek Pioneer Village.
