Painting Description

Even though this house is in a Burgundy village, there is country flavour about it, and indeed it might have been a rural house many centuries ago, as the village is at the edge of a vineyard. This rustic view appeals to me given the colours and the rather eccentric pile of buildings that have developed over time. You can bet this house has “happened” rather than being planned.
