Painting Description

Here are the artist notes:

The ground is covered with coloured leaves of brown and gold in contrast to green leaves on the trees in this showy display of light and hue near Erbsville.

Stalking through bush land I am dazzled by the lightshows that I discover. This fallen log really just becomes the excuse to paint that scene. A wooden fence snaking through the woods would have worked just as well.
