Floating Design
Painting Description
This painting is an exercise in design using a small barn in the Bloomingdale area as the subject.
As is my pattern, I circled back once again to a floating or drifting approach that I had first tried in art college back in the 60’s. This approach takes me from the factual to an almost dreamlike approach to a simple subject.
*This original was part of a large group of paintings donated by the artist to Grand River Hospital in 2012. To see paintings donated: GRHDONATION.
