Painting Description

Our only visit to Newfoundland was a pleasant experience. The topography of this island is an open-armed invitation to any artist. Dramatic and charming, this landscape almost paints itself. These colourful fishing shacks remind me a little of the seaside cabins along the English coast where the shoreline is much more gentle.
