Painting Description

This is a composed work that shows the influence of Tom Roberts who shared a dealer with me in Toronto. Looking back on this piece many years later, I am perplexed by the size of this work. It is certainly not of a proportion that I commonly used. Was it painted on commission? I can’t remember.
