Painting Description

Moments before entry into the ring, this young rider has a last chance to review the order of jumps. These young kids are so cute and so serious as they approach competition. Personally, I could not get myself motivated to even consider competing at the local show. Possibly a competition goal would have helped my riding improve, but I simply rode for fun and exercise. After too many falls, I decided to give up on riding. As the result of my last displacement, I ended up injuring my right hand. Not a good idea for a painter.
