Painting Description

This painting was inspired by a quick view as I drove by a farm at Shades Mills. As is often the case for me, subjects just present themselves if I am alert enough to notice. It would make a better story if I could say that I organize an exhaustive search for the perfect subject but for my way of working that is not the case.

In this painting I am really trying out a semi-watercolour technique on upsomboard which is absorbent like paper.
