Painting Description

The road on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River plunges and soars as it traces the contours of this rugged farmland north of Quebec City. This farmhouse is boundaried on one side by the river and on its end by a small stream with its own splashing waterfalls. I am hard pressed to name a place that is more romantic.
