Painting Description

Long shadows cover the foreground in this snowy painting of a Mennonite farmhouse not far from Hawkesville.

This piece was inspired by the work of the late John Joy who for many years created dramatically lit winter scenes of old houses in downtown Toronto. That is the area in which I lived while I was in Art College.
