Farmhouse at Les Eboulements

Painting Description

The technique of wax pencil (crayon) with watercolour is, for me, a seldom used form. For years I have searched for a way of combining line and mass. Although I feel this piece works very well, I am working to bring a consistency to that loose coloured drawing approach. This ephemeral style is sympathetic to a romantic subject such as this Charlevois area farmhouse.
