Painting Description

This painting shows this picturesque farm as it stood in 1977. I realize that practicality demanded that these buildings be wrapped in aluminum siding, but for me the joyous spirit of this view has been eviscerated. If I had realized when I was young just how much the countryside would change, I would have painted even more of those now vanished views.
