Farm, Four Miles West of Winterbourne
Painting Description
This is a secluded spot even as Mennonite farms go. I am attracted by the other world, a private domain that is so critical to one of the main Mennonite tenants, “A people apart”. I see that seclusion in my own life as well. We are not a very sociable couple, pleased to live within our own secret garden.
