Painting Description

The painting was used on the cover of Waterloo Region Magazine for the fall issue in 1981. Using photos taken by me at many fairs around Ontario, I composed an image that shows as many animals as possible. I enjoy the putting together of separate subjects—in fact all my paintings are developed that way. By adding and deleting things I deliver as much impact as possible in a painting. This is my own personal way of painting and certainly not a common approach among artists.
