Painting Description

The cathedral at Maryhill was adjacent to a farm that I owned very briefly. This view in early spring across rain-flooded fields has a peacefulness that greatly attracts me. As an artist I am drawn to subjects that touch an emotional nerve. I cannot explain why one topic outdraws another in my heart.
