Empty and Full
Painting Description
The corn harvest has become a much more popular idea than when I first started painting the Mennonites and Amish. I have dealt with the crop subject a number of times in the last several years, but it would be difficult to come up with any “early” examples of this subject. The seemingly endless round of fill and empty does not appear to faze the farmers, while to me the task seems so daunting one load at a time.
