Painting Description

While I was painting this piece beside the road near our rented cottage, I was buzzed by a bi-plane from a small airport nearby. This first plane was followed by two more that performed acrobatics, I assume, for an air show. I found it so strange to be painting in this quiet, pretty landscape with the Battle of Britain overhead.
