Painting Description

Soft colours and subtle shades drew me to this small bit of spring landscape in North Dumfries. A peaceful scene can have great appeal.

The foundation photo for this painting came from my file of over 10 years ago. Clearly there was an appeal to this small snippet of countryside but it only came together now. As often happens, I stumbled on this view as I searched for something else in my library of shots.
