Painting Description

This painting/drawing is a mixed media work of a house in the Cotswold area of England. We rented a converted granary in this small village, and I had the fun of painting anything and everything in that wee burg. The mixing of pastel, watercolour and pencil crayon is not my usual approach, but I find it fun to change gears and bring a new view to my work. Since that time I have shifted my approach many times, but I do come back to the subject of the mellow coloured stone houses in those United Kingdom villages.
