Dingle
Painting Description
Travelling around the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland on an almost misty day, I was taken by the layers of softness that put me in mind of mohair blankets. On our second trip to the U.K., we bought one for my mother that echoed these colours. It was just as soft when she died some thirty years later where it lay folded on the bottom of her bed. Funny isn”t it, how much one thing can cause an echo in your being.
