Painting Description

This view near Glen Allan, Ontario is so peaceful. Painted in 1982, this quiet scene does not include the now mandatory fencing of the stream. I realize that keeping the cattle out of the streams and rivers is good from a health perspective. That rule puts an end to the traditional cattle grazing by and wading in the water paintings that stud the history of art.
