Cowgirl
Painting Description
This girl’s grandmother asked me to paint her granddaughter’s old horse (right) and new horse. As you can imagine, this was a delightful task made even more fun because of the energy that sprang from this girl. Each commission is individual and challenging.

COMISSION TEXT | The grandmother of this little girl asked me to paint the transitioning from one horse to another. On the right is the old horse and on the left, the new one. What could be a more pleasant task for me but to portray two lovely saddle horses? What made this even more fun was the energy that sprang from this little girl. I've never had a commission quite like this, but then I've never really had two commissions that were alike. I always say that I'm the president of the short attention span theatre, and perhaps for that reason I really enjoy a new challenge. |
