Painting Description

The valley of the Conestogo River running east from St. Jacobs is a pretty, once secluded, spot. So many areas in Mennonite country have changed their character as urbanization has pushed farther into the countryside. This valley is unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, one of those areas.
