I found an old photo that I had taken years ago in a garden in an English village. I was struck by how romantic and from a kids story book that the vision appeared. I built out from that enhancing how I wanted the image to look. I never paint things the way they are but rather how I want them to be. A psychiatrist would have a field day with this view.
