Painting Description

There are many ways that I approach how I develop a painting. From on the spot sketches, through photos that I take, to the use of archival photos, I employ various inspirations. Conestogo – Early Days springs from the archives of Woolwich Township. The old photos that I uncover are of course black and white but provide a starting point from which I can expand an idea.
