Painting Description
The theme, community service, is found at least four times in this “parade” theme. Motorcycle police with “want-to-be police”, seniors lending their interest to policing and to youth, fire fighters serving the community and supporting Muscular Dystrophy, and friendly clowns, all add up to a “beautiful” parade.

COMISSION TEXT | The theme, community service, is found at least four times in this "parade" theme. Motorcycle police with "want-to-be police", seniors lending their interest to policing and to youth, firefighters serving the community and supporting Muscular Dystrophy, and friendly clowns, all add up to a "beautiful" parade. This painting was commissioned by the Waterloo Regional Police, but paid for by the supplier of HarleyDavidson Motorcycles. In this piece I learned that a motorcycle has a "pretty" side which always wants to be shown. |
