Painting Description

I think that this Irish-like setting on the northeast of Cornwall, England, will make a terrific placement for a large extended painting with the interest shifted down to the water’s edge. Smugglers, fishermen, pirates or immigrants would provide the action in this future piece. The landscape with the rising road and rocky coast beckon me. A view like this sits in my mind for years and then bursts out into a complex narrative painting that I wasn”t even aware that I was contemplating.
