Clear Cut
Painting Description
Just off the Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo, I spotted this area of clear cut that looked like preparation for some future path.
During preparations for the shooting of a video for the Walter Bean Trail, I spied this small area off to the side of the golf course that was being prepared for something but I don’t know what. This is a good example of just keeping receptive to subjects that may be totally unexpected but will do very nicely as a starting point for a painting. I do not go out with a fixed idea of my subject but rather try to stay alert to the possibilities.
