Painting Description

This street passes a thatched house in the small English village in Dorset on its way to the church.

To be honest, I cannot remember the name of this village. I do remember turning around to take the shot which is the basis of this piece. As always I have taken liberties with the landscape but the central idea that almost every little town has a church street is not fiction.
