Painting Description

This scene that I observed in the Cotswolds appears to come straight from a children’s book of England. The peaceful spring countryside, the mellow-toned stone house and the equestrian heading back from a canter are all constituents in this romantic view of Britain. A large part of England’s attraction for me is that other worldly quality.
