Painting Description

Standing beside me along the Mall, this fellow instantly noticed when my wife pulled the two Canadian flags from her bag. He gleefully informed us that he had been born in Cold Lake, Alberta when his father was in the Royal Air Force. Although he had spent virtually all his life in Britain, he cherished the idea of his Canadian birth. He so desperately wanted a Canadian flag to wave that we gave him one of ours.
