By the Homemade Bridge

Painting Description

The role of a traditional farmer demands a person with a wide range of skills. Beyond ability in horticulture and animal handling and breeding, the old fashioned farmer was a carpenter, a mason as well as a plumber and general repairman. This bridge is a rather crude concrete creation. No outside help was used and hence no additional cost was incurred. Self sufficiency in many areas means more money kept in the wallet.
