Business Road, Indian Harbour
Painting Description
The buildings for receiving the fish stand between the rocks on this rugged coast of Nova Scotia not far from the famous Peggy’s Cove.
The obvious picturesque quality of this tiny fishing village makes it easy to forget the commercial purpose of this settlement. From an artist’s standpoint even the ragged positioning of the fish houses seems aesthetically balanced and appealing.
