Painting Description

This clearing of a pine grove presented itself as I drove toward home late on a January afternoon. I was much taken with the large group of young men thinning the bush and I intended to do a major piece that deals with that subject. No doubt the primary subject in this painting will become a supporting player in that larger piece.
