Painting Description

The curving shape of this long broken rail fence drew me to paint this vignette of countryside.

Each painting that I produce starts with some feature that stands out to me. That is what makes painting, of the type that I pursue, such a personal and eccentric craft. I would be hard pressed to explain just what about the curving shape of the old broken down rail fence appeals to me.
