Painting Description

This stream at the foot of Breslau, Ontario flows into the Grand River and on to Lake Erie. Beyond the slippery view of the stream, I was attracted to the wild phlox on the bank. When I was a child, I encountered these attractive flowers near the dump and spent my childhood calling them garbage flowers.
