Painting Description

It has taken me many years to realize that dramatic views like this one are rather hard to find. It is much easier to locate a splendid site from down in the valley looking up to the hills. I am regularly appalled at how long it takes me to stumble onto an idea that is most obvious once the penny has dropped.
