Painting Description
Driving along the Trans-Canada Highway just northwest of Banff, I noticed this charming spot on the Vermillion Lakes. I am always on the look-out for an unusual view of beauty spots and this clumping of stumps fit the bill perfectly. This scene is so much more interesting to me than the standard beauty shot featured in travel brochures.
