Bee Hives
Painting Description
Spring starts in the woods just up the hill from Boomer Creek. These bee hives tended by a nearby Mennonite farmer add an extra feature to this painting.
At this point, the very start of spring, the woods do not green up as quickly as the willow trees just down the hill by Boomer Creek. I had never noticed this distinct difference in colouring over a 200 foot distance.
