Painting Description

This ink and watercolour shows the relationship of machinery in the field to the huge hulks of the grain elevators. The inclusion of the river also introduces another note of contrast and defies the idea that Saskatchewan is a featureless, flat pancake. My cousin farms near here in Watrous, Saskatchewan.
