Painting Description

A back lane that parallels Wellington Street in Kitchener offers this sun streaked spring view of two back yards.

I have an affection for the neighbourhoods that echo the feeling of the one in which I grew up. Add to that fondness, the back alley appeal that I developed from my time at art college, and this makes a perfect piece for me.

This original painting was part of a large group of paintings donated by the artist in 2014 to St. Mary’s Hospital.
