Painting Description

I once had a dealer in London, England who described my paintings of this sort as “contemporary genre.” This is indeed a scene of just the everyday, but I think it is in some way timeless. I enjoy using the older style of houses as a backdrop. I suppose because I grew up in a house of that style.
