Painting Description

I am often shown some really attractive landscape in the course of painting a commission. This bit of beautiful woods is directly behind the Aberfoyle Mill. It is a hidden beauty spot that is not visible from the road. As is often the case, the land combines with the sunlight to create a bit of heaven. Notice the gray/green/purple shadow area as it laps against the sunlit orange areas of leaves.
