Painting Description

A scene northwest of Hawkesville inspired this loose watercolour acrylic. Although I have included a tandem hitch on a plough in the distance, the main thrust of this painting is the autumn colour. I enjoy the various techniques that are possible using acrylic. In this case I employed the transparent watercolour approach. The opaque handling, which more closely resembles an oil painting, is at the other end of the technique scale.
