Painting Description

The line up of horses along the fence at this auction sale indicates that the stable is already full or that some attendees are only intending to stay a short while.

I was attracted by the combination of colours in this view. An interesting sidelight. The red coloured cutter in front contains a photo of its driver that I took in Millbank several days previously. I had arranged to meet the driver at this aution to deliver the photo that he had requested. As soon as I gave him the picture, it disappeared under a rake in this cutter.
