Painting Description

Using St. Jacobs as the inspiration for this painting, I have reconstructed the scene through archival information. The era where the horse-drawn time overlapped the new automobile makes a tremendously exciting visual presentation. Through photos from the Ontario Archives, Parks Canada, and local archives, I have attempted to place the viewer in a different time.
